The latest ‘social media frenzy’ circulating the rounds this week is the #kyliejennerlipchallenge.
The #KylieJennerChallenge or #KylieJennerLipChallenge is the latest craze
where people stick their lips into random objects such as drinking glasses or bottles, by sucking until the air vacuum causes their lips to swell up- all in the aim to gain Kylie Jenners full pout.
Countless teens, both boys and girls, have been sharing the disturbing results of their experiments on Twitter and Instagram, which in many cases has led to severe bruising and swelling around the mouth.
Instead of laughing at the ridiculous photos of dumb teens uploading swollen and bruised lips, don’t you think we and Kylie Jenner should be educating these teens about vanity and looks? I mean, when i was 12, i was out playing netball and hanging with friends, I wasn’t worried about how big i could pout my lips in a selfie. Its sad that the teens of today are so worried about their looks.
The powers of social media are great, but unfortunately not in stupid challenges/ trends like this where teens are inflicting bruising and swelling to themselves for no reason other than for looks.

I agree it’s ridiculous, it’s superficial and vain. These acts are dumb the brusing and swelling is proof.
